Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 18 ~The 2nd Decisive Battle of Tokyo~

OBLIGATORY DISCLAIMER: I watch Code Geass raw because I stopped taking it seriously because it’s a mecha anime anyway. And it’s harder to make fun of it when you know the dorama in the dialogue – to me anyway. But yeah, I watch the subbed version at a much later time. What you are about to read has absolutely nothing to do with what actually happened in the episode and is me merely taking the mickey out of the show because of its many absurdities. If you want a serious summary, you can always go to other websites, but I won’t bother stating them anymore because I’m lazy to link.

Eh… things started to get serious since last week. -_-”’ This episode has seriously turned combat and MOAR dorama. It’s absolutely incomprehensible for the likes of me. But I’m not a complete moron not to understand what actually happened.

Before I start coming across as an insensitive prick because there is a war going on in the world and there are people dying because of it, IT’S SUNRISE!!!!!!

Frankly, if I took this episode seriously, I would consider this episode to be a very tragic one. Nuking everyone is a really crappy way to go (Nina should burn in hell!) – not to mention so weh… Do I believe Nunally died? No. Everyone else? With the exception of the obvious ones that lived from the last few seconds of the show and the Next Episode previews, I’m not sure… I will have to wait for next week’s body count before making any thoughts. I mean… what a shitty episode next week if everyone died. I mean, who’s left if they all did??? Lelouch, Nukezaku, Kallen, C.C. , Rollo, Schneizel, Kanon, Nina, Lloyd, the Emperor, and Cornelia – yeah… let’s leave all the batshit insane characters live and sustain the next couple of episodes til it ends… ~_~

But I am starting to dread that this is going to end up being one of those stories where everyone’s living in a dream world or that the ultimate power of Geass is to change the world and make them revert everything back to normal. The THAT boys think they’ll be resurrected since Sunrise is notorious for that. But I haven’t watched that much Sunrise mecha stuff. That would be a sucky ending! If I wanted an ending like that, I would just watch something made by CLAMP (other than character designs).
