Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 22 ~Emperor Lelouch~

So Lelouch rules the world (except for Australia which is ruled over by the penguins), complete with his eyehat – I kinda miss the asshat. And after turning his brothers and sisters into the dumbest meidos in the world (who mops the same spot repeatedly? Really?) and destroying the momuments that Charles dedicated to himself in order to erect statues of his manbitch Suzaku, er… himself, –aw frickin’ hell, I’m not gonna try anymore. Here’s this week’s omake…

Well… Lelouch doesn’t answer to anyone. Not even God since he just geassed God in the previous episode. But there’s someone that surpasses God – the people who fund the show: the producers. So the producers through Taniguchi sent forth the remaining Knight of Rounds for the slaughter…

The episode was weh. Not much happening. Apart from killing off characters who were not going to be alive at the end of the season who were not in Tokyo when FLIEA was deployed. What an anti-climactic end for three Knight of Rounds – especially for Bismarck the Knight of One, who seemed so wow and GAR. I don’t understand stuff anymore. A major reshuffling of allegiances – ah who cares!?

The next comic just confirms the elephant in the room… (In my world anyway since I knew it was Suzaku who’s ghey) Lelouch is frickin ghey. Kallen’s too hot and Kaguya’s too loli (as appeasement to Shin’s lolicon-ish sensibilities)… What the hell? But then again, I knew since the first season that Lelouch only loves Nunally – his one and future waifu. I kinda saw this coming… especially after becoming really apparent that Lelouch has to be incredibly, terribly depressed to turn to a woman for some “comfort”. (See episode 7 on the Shinjuku part.) and that he’s incredibly terrified at the prospect of slavegirl C.C. would be stripping in front of him (See prologue of Episode 16). Oh well, we kiss the KallenXLelouch pairing farewell – what the hell is she doing with Gino in the previews?

Since the fact that two people have spoiled everyone who go through their blogs and AnimeNano that Nunally is still alive, the highlight of this episode for me is the potential for the KallenXLelouch bit…

Apparently, Lelouch subscribes to the mantra “Bros before hos” – to an extremity.

Well, I was right. Nunally’s still alive. How she got out of FLIEA’s pink light is beyond me, but rest assured that Sunrise will come up with some outrageous explanation so let’s not bother speculating anymore. Why? Well… because it’s Sunrise! Personally, I was quite disappointed that I’m right she’s not a cyborg with a rocket wheelchair armed with pink sparkles and FLIEA.

So what will happen? Who will inherit the Earth? The lolis? The bishies? The yaoists? Or the penguins?

I have no yaoi fodder whatsoever in the omake. Not even in the omake’s omake. I just couldn’t resist the eyecatch because it was so friggin’ hilarious.

Omake’s Omake:

Oh well, Lelouch and Suzaku didn’t mansex architect the perfect world based on Nunally and Euphie’s dream, they knew how to have fun too. Here’s a day in the life of Lelouch as emperor.

Of course, Nina has quite active in this episode. She been on her desk (oh God, please no!) typing away. I’m sure that she’s googling Euphy, but then again, she could be making her grand plans for the Einstein Peace Prize since she saw what terrible destruction her FLIEA did in Tokyo. I don’t know… it doesn’t have a ring to it like the Nobel peace Prize. I’m gonna have to give credit to issa-sa’s Twitter post for that thing about Milly’s wardrobe.
