Where did my Maeno Tomoaki go??? ;A; Apparently, everyone who died in the first episode really did die. ~There goes 35% of my motivation for watching this show…

Episode 2

.

Demons are attacking the city while the Ministry of Defense Supernatural Division was being hacked up by the sword-wielding girl. With them annihilated, in comes the Ministry of Environment’s Supernatural Division, who seem to have more knowledge about handling the demons than the ones in the Ministry of Defense.

Yomi, the girl who killed the members of the Ministry of Defense, used to be a part of the Ministry of Environement. But now she works under the demons because of her hatred for her former colleagues. She ended up killing everyone, including her former fiancé, Nori, and another sword-wielding girl named Kagura, who calls her sister. Yomi ends up killing everyone.

Episode 3

It’s generally a backstory between Yomi and Kagura.

Kagura came to Yomi’s house after her mother died and her father took in the ga-rei into himself for some kind of purification. Yomi’s family served Kagura’s family and she was welcomed into their home. Yomi treated Kagura as a little sister. The nature of Yomi’s “job” is no secret to Kagura, especially since her family is involved with the extermination of the evil spirits. When Kagura was a little older, she joined them.

Episode 4:

This has got to be the greatest mystery of this series.

Kagura has been working with the Ministry of Environment Supernatural Division for a while, but she still isn’t allowed to do anything other than back up Yomi. In this episode, the swords were taken away by Michael , the guy who created them for maintenance. Kagura’s wasn’t taken away because the sword still unused.

Yomi ends up with Douglas 23, one of Michael’s inventions and is generally an iron. ~She should have taken Pare 33, the chainsaw. (The J. Fox was just wrong) Anyway, despite Nori’s relationship with Yomi, he tried not to have anything to do with her because she’s a fiancée that his parents chose for him. So Yomi hangs out with Kagura a lot and they ended up encountering a lot of Category Ds (human spirits that turned into evil spirits). Kagura’s father ends up saving them and scolding Kagura, telling her to grow stronger because as exorcists, it is their destiny.

Thoughts:

Again, I amplify my complaint: WHERE DID MAENO TOMAKI GO??? ;A;

But it’s not like that’s gonna stop me from watching this show. Despite the story not being one that would usually interests me, I like the way the interesting way they’re telling the story. To be honest, if the story is done chronologically, it wouldn’t have made much on an impact on me. I’ve been watching this since two weeks ago, but I really didn’t want to blog about it because the story wasn’t making much sense to me. Well, it’s starting to make sense now and the pace is great. I’m definitely gonna be picking this up for the fall season now.
