Junjou Romantica 2 02 ~Whatever Happens Twice Can Happen Thrice~
Posted by biankita on November 4, 2008

;A; A million bad things has just crossed my mind!!!
.
Usami is stressed because he’s “forced” to mingle with the masses in a party in his honor. And while they were running through the events of the party, Isaka took Misaki aside to tell him that he should keep his distance from Usami during the party because it might invite some unsightly rumors around him. Of course, Misaki is in denial that there’s even anything between him and Usami.
.

.
That night, Isaka is working hard to pull Misaki out of Usami’s sight while he’s being surrounded by his fangirls. He even got his secretary to entertain him. Misaki finally got what Isaka meant and just left the ballroom. He bumped into Haruhiko, who was also staying in that hotel because he wanted to see him. After being confused with Haruhiko’s train of thought and strawberry cake, Haruhiko declared that he will steal Misaki away from Usami. Misaki got freaked and ran back to his room, where Usami was already there.
.

Geez, he just figured that out???
.
Usami really got pissed when Misaki told him what Haruhiko told him and tried to march of the room to charge Haruhiko. Misaki tried to stop him. But Isaka came banging at the door telling him to come out because there was an afterparty. But he Usami said that he’s already done with his duties and wants to spend his private time with Misaki. And yeah, that led to buttsecks.
.

Just admit that you like men too… or at least you’re a manbait!
.
After that, Usami said that they should check out of the hotel early the next morning because they were gonna get hell from Isaka the next day. Misaki knew that it’s part of the “trouble” that he was causing but Usami’s voice, hand, blahblahblah. The next morning, Haruhiko sent in a basket of strawberries for Misaki.
.

The strawberries that will haunt Misaki for episodes to come.
.
Thoughts:
I’m still watching this show because one, I enjoy the characters so much (and watching Gravitation made me go weh…-_-); and two, with all the shoujo that this season offers, the kind of “relationship straight-forwardness” that this show offers is a welcomed. A girl can’t live on suspenseful doki-doki cliffhangers alone. So yeah… I’m gonna be blogging this show regularly since I still have the same level of enjoyment of watching it as the first season.
Anyway, the show’s really catching up with the manga… I’m only on Volume 6 (the latest volume to be scanlated is Volume 7), which covered this arc. Actually, I’m actually missing the Terrorist couple ;A; – and my fave, Egoist. I hope they cover them in following episodes – especially the other things that happened in previous volumes that were never covered in the anime.
A new Junjou couple??? I was reading through some website – I can’t remember what – and learned that there’s a new couple in the Junjou series…? It’s about Isaka 10 (or was it 20) years ago with some dude. Bah! I can’t remember… all I remember is that it’s called Junjou Mistake.

Yeah, I heard about the new pairing as well. Wonder if it’ll make it to the anime?

@issa-sa: uh-oh what
@taiyaki: not sure how far along junjou mistake is in the series, but i doubt it’ll make the anime. the only thing i can think of is… “jeez, don’t they have any straight friends???”

You know, I’m not even watching any of the shows your blogging on, yet I still feel compelled to at least check out your screenshots. No one’s got a better eye for sexual innuendo and pant-shitting, out-of-context moments. It’s a godly talent, I tell ya.
